Brian has completed thousands of actual restoration projects and negotiated with insurance companies, worked with insurance companies, and worked for lawyers that sued insurance companies. He has seen every angle on the claims process and is here to help guide you through it.
We provide more Extensive Reports That Help Settle Your Claim
Unlike other public adjusters that hastily prepare a basic estimate that many times is scoffed at by insurance companies, at Waller Adjusting, we take it many steps further – as we feel preparing your claim report is critical to the success of your claim. Our detailed reports include:
- Line by line estimate
- Photos with descriptions of damage
- Sketch diagram of property
- mold/black water lab report (as needed)
- fire/soot carbon lab report (as needed)
- Air quality restoration expert report (as needed)
- Engineer sealed plan or letter (as needed)
- Consultant letters or reports (as needed)
Why do we go to such great lengths to provide additional materials that most Public Adjusters simply will not provide? The simple answer is: because we know that in order to find out the extent of the damage, we need these reports – which in turn helps us in preparing your estimate. The documentation is also helpful to your insurance company, as these same reports assist them in determining coverage.
Public Adjuster Claim Process
Brian Waller can help you throughout your claims process. Here is a quick step by step outline of how it works:
Process
- Meet you at the property claim site and walk through the site to get an idea of the damages. We will discuss the claim with you and see what your concerns are, what the claim status is, and get an overall feel for what services are needed.
- Thoroughly review your policy as well as any other pertinent documents (adjuster estimate, letters, etc.).
- Send you a reasonable contract for our services and review it with you in great detail so that we can answer any questions you may have and make sure you understand it before signing it.
- Prepare the detailed estimate and related reports as outlined above.
- Send a detailed estimate and report to the insurance company and review the report with the insurance company.
- Negotiate with an insurance company adjuster to reach a fair settlement.
- In the event negotiations do not go well with the adjuster, we have plenty of experience in seeking out alternative methods of dispute resolutions including meditation, appraisal, and other options.
- One way or another, we will settle the claim. When it is all said and done, our clients – by a wide majority – typically end up receiving a much greater and fairer settlement from their insurance company by working with our firm than they ever would have been able to obtain on their own.
Getting your home or business restored right
Waller Adjusting is on your side and will help you at each step of the way throughout the entire claims process. Our goal is to make sure we find out the true cost of your claim and then see that your insurance company pays you the proper settlement amount so that you can have your home or business fully restored back to its original condition.
