What’s Involved in a Design-Build Project?

Here’s an overview that touches on the basic steps.

Initial Meeting

You’ll tell us what you want, and we’ll tell you how it can happen.

Site selection

If you don’t already have a building site, we’ll help you secure one that will perfectly suit your needs.

Site assessment

We’ll figure out if site modifications are necessary to make everything on the property work as it should.

Home design

Our team will begin putting together the specs for your new home. You’ll review it before we move forward.

Cost estimate

With the design process complete, we’ll give you a not-to-exceed cost estimate. We’ll sign the design-build contract at this time.

Permits

Waller will secure the required construction permits.

Construction

We’ll begin construction and assign a project manager. This person will be your primary contact throughout the job.

Third-party inspection

We’ll schedule a home inspection with a third-party inspector.

Final walkthrough

This is where you’ll see the results of all the work you and the Waller team have done.
