Our Beginning...
The Waller Group of Companies began as a vision of Robert J. Waller, Jr. in Lakeland, back in 1961. He wanted each project to be constructed perfectly in every sense of the word, and we have always strived for the same. “Doing it right the first time” remains one of the key elements in our vision for success. The early years – and the times in general – were tough. Yet with each year the company grew. Robert J. “Bob” Waller III and Tom Waller took over running the company in 1985. It was at that point that Waller started to expand as a commercial and home remodel contractor and insurance restoration. As time went by, Waller continued to expand its services into roofing | roofer services, emergency services, and real estate and development services.
1990s - today
Jimmy and Brian Waller joined the company in the early 1990s and extended the Waller Management Team into its 3rd generation. We set the bar with premier 24-hour service; quality design, in-house crews, and an overall commitment to excellence. Today with over 40 employees, Waller Group is greater Polk County’s largest and most diversified central Florida builder and home remodel contractor. In addition, Waller is quickly becoming a critical player in retail and office development with a current space inventory of over 20,000 square feet. Our name is known for high quality craftsmanship, innovation and integrity in everything we touch. That’s understandable because Waller Construction has been a successful Florida custom builder since 1961. Today’s Waller Group is a much more than that.
